At Agilx, we always have a full team dedicated to the development of your project. In order to maximize our productivity, we’ve created a variety of testing environments that are used throughout each step of the process. This takes your project all the way from one of our developer’s individual laptops, to a live production site where your users will be able to access it! Below we’ve outlined the step by step approach so you too can follow along:

Multiple Team members may be touching your project

They are each working on their own “local” computer to build these features

When the developers have their tasks into a working state, they all add their features in our “development” environment.

This environment will constantly grow as we add more and more functionality to your project.

When development work is complete, our QA team creates a duplicate of this dev environment and pushes it into their own QA environment to review and test.

They will ensure everything is working as it should be and provide feedback to our developers of any bugs they discover. Meanwhile our developers are already starting on the next work for your project!

QA will send feedback to our developers for any items to fix.

They will work on the updates on their own local computers, send it back into the dev environment to keep that updated with changes, and then QA will make another copy to pull into the QA environment to review again.

When QA has approved that everything is working on your App, they will create a “release”.

We will release the updates to a specific environment solely for you to review and test: the beta environment.

You will receive an email to review and test this. This will contain notes for you on what was created.

It’s now up to you to test everything! Try to break the system or find any mistakes our team may have overlooked.

If you find a bug, you can let us know on the release. If everything looks good, you can approve the release.

When you approve the release, this lets us know you are ready for it to go to your live production site where your users, clients, or customers can also use it.

They will work on the updates on their own local computers, send it back into the dev environment to keep that updated with changes, and then QA will make another copy to pull into the QA environment to review again.
